Everything’s packed. A box of belongings has been shipped off to some sea container hopefully to re-emerge in a few weeks’ time somewhere in Cape Town. After the requisite period of leaning, huffing, puffing and cursing, I managed to close the suitcase. All other belongings have been put away of farmed out to nearests and dearests. A number of leaving parties and dinners have been had, goodbyes said, gifts received and given, and yes, some tears shed.
As yet I’ve nowhere to live, no car, office, friends, phone, family. Just a laptop, a big bag of clothes, the backing of Livity, a head full of ideas and my Shuttleworth Fellowship… From this point forward this blog will be transmitting from Cape Town, South Africa.
